From the 26th of March till the 9th of April 2011, Bir Mula Heritage is hosting a photographic exibition entitled ‘Through The Lens: Sustainability from a Different Perspective’. This photo exhibit is being organised by the Youth For The Environment and the Tourism Studies Association, and the theme chosen is sustainability. This word has become a buzz word and is on many people’s lips. However does the common man in the street know exactly what sustainability is? Unfortunately the ideology behind this term is often misinterpreted, as many tend to associate the word only with the environment, when social and cultural aspects must also be taken into consideration. This exhibit is a compilation of photos by students, and represent their perspectives on sustainability. Everyone is cordially invited to visit this exhibition.
